Just so you know, Bama and Clemson go through as much attrition as we did and still bounce back stronger than ever. Bama has a record of losing their O and D coordinators after every season and they still manage to put together a great team and game plan just because Saban is a "no non sense" coach. On the other hand, Swinney admitted earlier this year during an interview that each year, they tear down the game plan and build on something new. IMO, this is where their strength is. If LSU continues to run the same plays we did last year, we will continue to be outplayed because offseason gives enough opportunities for coordinators to learn your favorite routes and situation calls. Miles was running the ball for freaking the entire time he was here and so no one has to guess that on a 3rd and long, he is still going to run the ball.

No team in the history of college football has had the attrition this program is facing. NO TEAM!!! We started 3 fbs players, a juco and 3 freshman! We will be back, but we have to put these kids in the best situation to win. This one is more on the coaches !!!

Chase bailed before he lost millions upon millions playing with Brennan at QB.

Yep I hope chase and shelvin are happy. They are as much part of this loss as anyone else. They quit on their team and embarrassed LSU football

Selfish POS. He shouldn’t have signed his papers and committed to play for this university if he quits when things get tough

Didn’t matter

State didn’t run the ball (Shelvin) and we couldn’t throw it (Chase).

How many times have Bama and Clemson been a part of the playoffs bubba? Bama gets almost as many players drafted as we did

2020- LSU (14); Bama (9); Clemson (7)
2019- LSU (3); Bama (10); Clemson(6)
2018- LSU (7); Bama (12); Clemson(3)
2017 - LSU (8); Bama (10); Clemson(6)

2019 LSU - Finished 15-0 ; Bama - Finished 11-2
2018 LSU - Finished 10-3 ; Bama - Finished 14-1
2017 LSU - Finished 9-4; Bama - Finished 13-1

Stats above should show you how Bama finished the last 4 seasons WHILE LOSING north of 10 players every season. They lost 12 in 2018 and still won 14-1 that year.

Should I also remind you of Bama losing Kirby, Locksley, Cristobal, and Kiffin during these years all of who are coaching at Div 1 top tier school and Bama still continuing to dominate?

The issue is that when the fan is more pissed off then the actual players still on the team

Nah. Looking at those sidelines on TV last night - I'd say that 99.9% of the fans gave more of a frick. Question is why?

Remove your P&G glasses. We all knew before 2019 that O is a great used car salesman and a poor HC.

Also, Leach just whooped our arse yesterday. Riley gets Oklahoma to the playoffs each year. Mullen whooped our arse too back when he was a MS State and he is going to do it again.

What do you mean by who wanted Brady? O got him here to help with the game plan. Him and Burrow who came here upon Bill Busch's recommendation were his only home runs. When he hired his good buddy Pellini, I knew this is going to be a shite show. Just watch the coming weeks.

Right. Ika isn't as good as shelvin yet, but he was throwing people around.

We basically had chase out there in Gilbert and we couldn't block half the time and Brennan couldn't find him the other half

I went back and watched the long highlights and the line didn't help Brennan at alll

Plus this unique situation of 3 opting out. So yea, I was correct. 17 dudes, no one else you listed has come remotely close.

Them opting out for millions still fricked over their teammates. Likely still the right decision, but it undoubtedly left their teammates in a bad spot.

The timing was particularly bad for Chase and it’s affect on Brennan IMO. Having a top wr you’ve here working with for months opt out just before the season is pretty hindering to a new qb.

It is unfortunate but for the elite players football is a business, and he made a business decision.

Those in a position to make business decisions are going to act in ways that are not in the best interests of those who will never have to make that same decision.
