Saban dogs his players into staying, it’s ok to look at someone who is talented enough to get paid for what they’re doing and say, yeah, go make your money. It’s not Chase fault we lost, by any means.

Half these dudes would likely bail on their teammates at their current job for a 5% raise but flip out when going from 0 to millions are on the line.

Just so you know, Bama and Clemson go through as much attrition as we did and still bounce back stronger than ever.
Maybe in general, but neither of those teams went through what we did this past season.

I think we had 2 starters play from last season's team? That's not something Bama and Clemson go through every offseason.

Bailing out quick on the Coach. Leach ain’t ever won shite. Riley neither. Mullen is great but what has he won ? He gets Peter rolled by Kirby and says awe shux well we will win 10. O got joe wheb who else wanted him? He hired Brady when who else wanted him ? He lost 15 nfl talents. O has outdone any coach LSU had a legit Shot at. He knows how to fill needs recruit and has won ny6 sec title and natty n a short time. Don’t forget Les had us back to an 8 win program. O will fix this. I think tney will simplify things and the secondary will improve. RBs will get better. It’s gonna come down to can Myles step up or can a young buck step up. And Saban lost several games last year w a phenom at Qb bec he lost a ton to the draft the year before and lost two Lbers to injury. They were closer to 3-4 losses last year than they’d been in a while.

That's the mind set at LSU. Worry about yourself and not your team!

Bama, Clemson, always bring back Juniors for Senior Year! It is about the program at those places

Do you blame them? After yesterday I totally get why Chase opted out. He is a Top 5 pick with Burrow throwing to him. Likely late 1st rounder with Brennan.

Listen, I hear ya and agree. But it doesn’t make OPs point any less valid.

Them opting out for millions still fricked over their teammates. Likely still the right decision, but it undoubtedly left their teammates in a bad spot.

The timing was particularly bad for Chase and it’s affect on Brennan IMO. Having a top wr you’ve here working with for months opt out just before the season is pretty hindering to a new qb.

Is that your question?

If thats the way you feel then coaches should be able start taking scholarships from half the kids on the roster every year bc half of the recruits don't pan out

that’s the reason why people don’t like “me” generation. Dez Bryant was a great example of that.

A simple "Shel was right again" would have sufficed.

That's definitely fair. The issue is that when the fan is more pissed off then the actual players still on the team, then you know the fan is being disingenuous and less worried about the fricked over teammate and more worried about losing his feel good moment on Saturday.

I don't blame Chase. Dude had an unbelievable year. His stock couldn't get any higher.

Shelvin I don't know.
