The Chargers’ team doctor accidentally punctured his own quarterback Tyrod Taylor’s lung just before kickoff Sunday while trying to administer a pain-killing injection to the quarterback’s cracked ribs, league and team sources told ESPN.
Giving Herbert his first start.

Everything we’ve suspected from the Chargers medical staff is confirmed

That's going to hurt his/her malpractice insurance rates.

seriously. you wonder home some teams just seem to have bad injury luck year after year. this is a good perspective/insight

The Saints medical staff circa 2015 would have accidentally removed his lung.

I couldn't imagine being a QB in the NFL and trying to play through cracked ribs. That sounds miserable.

Did them a favor IMO. They should be suing Anthony Lynn for malpractice if he keeps starting Tyrod

That they are terrible.
Look at the chargers injury history the last 5-10 years.

Well he was the shitty Chargers team doctor before this guy. Knows crappy work when he sees it.
