Any hobbies? Sports, Hunting, Fishing, Golf, ETC?

Make sure where you move you are close to things you enjoy doing NOT at work!

Personally, I'd move to the Northshore or Miss Gulf Coast if I could.

Ochsner and St. Tammany Health System are building a cancer center in Covington near Hwy 21/I-12. I don’t know if it will cater to peds, though.

Northshore meets all your checklists except access to pediatric cancer center.

Texas is your best option for that

I'd imagine him still being at home is probably due to the fact that they have multiple kids and 1 with cancer and need someone to help with things.

The wife stays home. 3 kids isn’t a lot to deal with for a stay at home mom. Even if one has an illness.

Thank you for all the responses. 21 year old is actually going to UGA right now so he is “out of the house” and we all love LSU!!! He would be thrilled to transfer to LSU (and was actually accepted there) but out of state tuition was too expensive. We would establish residency and then he could transfer to LSU in the sports management program.

As for the 17 year old, right now we drive a hour and a half to UF Shands in Gainesville, FL and they are top notch.

North shore seems to be the most recommended.

Thank you to all!!

I'd move to the MS Gulf Coast.

Public Schools are pretty decent.
You serious Clark?

Maybe two public High Schools are decent (Ocean Springs & Pass High).

Unless you can afford a $500K home, NOLA proper is not a great place to live.

A vasectomy should be number one on your list, if not already performed.

Thanks for the confirmation of the type of people that you get to deal with in NOLA proper

Not Nola or Jackson for sure.
Biloxi is deathly boring.
Go to Baton Rouge but live in South or East BR
