A sequel to 2004's The Passion of the Christ, this film will chronicle the events following Jesus's purported resurrection from the dead. Jim Caviezel, now 51, will reprise the role of Jesus.

Wish he would do either the Maccabees or the Viking movie he’s been talking about instead.

More or less controversy than "Cuties?"

Mel will probably show Thomas put his hands in Jesus' wounds and pull out a rib in full HD gore.

The sequel subtitle/tagline possibilities could be glorious.

Live. Die. RESURRECT.

This will probably be more of an eye roll scenario.

Disappointed there's not a big "2" in the title.

Who among you does not believe Jesus was literally resurrected?
If you are a “Resurrection-Denier”, how do you explain the actions of the disciples in the years following that non-event?

eta didn't South Park or one of those shows make a parody of this? Something about Jesus with guns?

I feel like this sequel has been talked about for years and years. Is it actually going to happen?

It's more of a pro-provable reality bias.

...this kinda reads like a joke, no?
