'm a little offended they are charging so much for this. This should not be a profit-making opportunity for LSU, it should be a fun thing for fans to participate in since they can't attend the game in person. Charging $50 completely blows any goodwill they would have received from this.

How do you know what the costs are what their profit margin is? They have to hire people each game to put the cutouts back in storage. So what if it's $50? Don't buy one.

Can my cut out leave at halftime to beat traffic?
In my day, the cut outs stayed until the bitter end - even if it was just beating the hell out of Tulane late in the 4th quarter. Of course, they didn't use cheaply-assembled Chinese cut outs then. Nope, made on an assembly line here in the US of A.

I’m considering...cheaper than what I spend on a weekly basis and if it helps the program, I’m in.

Does say, Shazam count as a separate person than say, Shaq and the Big Aristotle?

I am sure they are doing this to raise a little cash. Got to be hurting with such a small crowd per game and so many season ticket holders rolling over tickets to next year. You can laugh but you won’t be laughing when the Athletic Department is in the red.

Are you kidding? They desperately need additional revenue because over 70% of "fans" opted out of season tickets. That is a great deal of revenue that is needed to support football and all the other "non-revenue" sports.

I think they should start a campaign to get every Tiger fan to auto donate weekly for each game we watch on TV. If you went to the game you would be spending a bundle on tailgating, concessions, transportation, etc. Why not ACH an amount that you designate weekly ($10 or up) to go to the Special Tradition Fund and get priority points for your donation. An average of $25/family or regular attendee would be $1.25M per week. A big help to fill the budget deficit. Think fans of a reigning undefeated SEC and National Championship team might be willing to give $100 or more to help out the TIgers?
But some people would just rather complain about everything.

I want a cutout with a speaker attached, connected by wifi to the internet and then to the microphone on my computer, so I can MAKE SOME NOISE and the players can hear it! Now that I would pay for. I wouldn't mind watching from home if I (and 100,000 other fans) can make the stadium bounce when we score a touchdown!

This can't be that difficult. The technology certainly exists to do this, why has no-one thought of it? It probably needs an upgrade to wifi in the stadium, and someone would need to check the batteries in the speaker regularly, but not difficult to do and it would make fans a lot happier about not being able to attend games.

You have to pay 20 dollars extra or they take it out in the 3rd quarter.

Boo! Should have been all PP7 windmill cutouts.

Honestly, this is the only way I would part with it

If LSU would put it in a seat for me, I'd drive it to BR tomorrow.
