I'm defining fake as made for the movie to be "sung" by a character in the movie as part of the plot of movie. Not a musical number in a musical. Or a song sung by a musical artist thats in the soundtrack of the movie. So like Shallow doesnt count because its basically a real Lady Gaga song that they worked into the movie.

Examples:

That Thing You Do - "That Thing You Do"
Christmas is All Around - "Love Actually"
We All Die Young - "Rock Star"

Catchy AF. Probably the most earworm-prone song until Hamilton came along.

Scottie Doesn't Know from EuroTrip is the winner here. That song was epic. I still sing it and I haven't seen the movie in years.

Take Your pick from Walk Hard

I do like Beautiful Ride a lot, but Walk Hard is great as well.

I like "Love Take Me Down To The Streets" from Role Models.

So much effort put into a complete joke not even realized until the credits. And it sounds pretty much perfectly like a Wings song.

The Dark Side. That might actually be the winner.
