Notable Residents of Old Metairie by Kevin TheRant
Will Clark loves on Tokalon and John Goodman owns property on Tokalon as well.

The African American actress form NCIS NOLA lived on Metairie Lawn.

Spud that fat frick only shops at Dorignac's

That's funny because I've seen him at the Rouses on Airline and Labarre many times.

I always wanted to give him shite and ask if Dorignac's knew he shopped there...

Langensteins are clean and never really crowded.

Because Langensteins doesn't have shite... Shop there only when I'm close and need something. Same as Canseco's.

Ever been to the Rouses on Power, the old Schweggy's.. It's the nicest one on the Southshore..

Hell I even prefer going into Canseco's over that Rouses. We are way off topic now.

Canseco’s is going to double in size with addition of the Ace Hardware space.

That one is real sleek and clean but I find it has a slightly smaller selection than vets or Carrollton

Is that who's taking that space?

RIP Harry's. Worked there in HS.

I had talked to one of the Canseco kids recently and he said that Aucoin Hart wanted to split Harry’s, but looks like they’re taking the entire space.

I wonder what happened that got the landowner to ditch Harry's.

Place stayed packed so I doubt they couldn't make the rent. Would be crazy to think that Canseco's or Aucoin Hart have that much pull to get a long time tenant booted assuming they were paying their bills.

Just pure speculation that it probably had to do with Covid and the huge push of online sales.
