I don't want to see it but as soon as i saw the cancel Netflix hashing, I knew that would make a lot more people see the movie.

In the social media age Controversy sells. Same reason why companies are pushing politics/blm and why trump came to dominate the Republican Party.
If you can get people sharing and arguing on social media about whatever you are pushing it is free marketing. By even participating in this thread we are all marketing this shite. You would think these moral crusaders would learn from their past that their skyscreaming always backfires. I can remember them complaining about 2 Live Crew, Marilyn Manson, Eminem, etc and it always resulted in those acts selling millions of albums.
