Very benign. I think the virus has mutated weaker and we are a lot better at treating it

Cool pic. I would like to see a time lapse of the movement.

Any word on the Point Clear area. My neighbor just told me his daughter and son in law live along 98 south of Lakewood CC. He has not heard from them since last night.

I know that area has plenty of high spots but that seems like a stupid place to ride it out.

Just got a call from my dad on the neighbors phone - they don't have cell service so tell your neighbor not to worry too much. Same report as last time - lots of wind and landscape damage but the house was fine and no major flooding problems. They live in a subdivision right next Lakewood.

That’s what I was thinking. They need to scuttle that barge. With the quickness

Any type of anti-take ordinance would do the trick. Hell, roll a couple of M1s up there and have target practice.

Never cease to be amazed how many people steal content on social media. Seeing the pic of the 3 Mile Bridge in Pensacola being shared by tons of people without attribution to the person who first took it

I will say that, though this isn't the time nor the place for some guy most people have never heard of to make that stand, what he is saying is a major, ongoing point of contention in the storm chaser community.

Networks, local and worldwide have made it a point to scour social media and other platforms for content they can easily rip off. For every one that asks permission, there are dozens who don't.

Even some "middle men" who make a living brokering content use deals often rip off the creators. I may get blasted for saying it, but the guy has a point. News affiliates love to use their stuff because the people getting the video assume 100% of the risk and the networks have to pay them nothing.

Would be much better than destroying I-10 for a year. In that area take your pick of which military aircraft you want to use. Give them the word and they could be airborne and blow that barge to bits in a few minutes.
