Why would an educated person subscribe to a political philosophy that requires a human being to surrender personal freedoms to governments (which is exactly what the left espouses)? In what universe is that intelligent... or moral?

Haven't heard a word in the media about the Tour De France. Large crowds that get within 2 feet of the competitors. France has higher per capita new cases than the US.

True. It doesn’t take critical thinking skills to realize that the world of Academia is supported largely by fleecing the masses (while being additionally supplemented by taxpayers and grants...aka the government teat). So pieces of human excrement vote en masse for the party that codifies corruption...hardly shocking.

Many of you are just looking into the fringe individuals. I’m not disagreeing about useless degrees, but usually goes across the board and gets more left the higher your degree gets. Usually, the higher you get in education, the more democrat you are. Lawyers, doctors, MBA, and several other post-graduates continue to vote ON AVERAGE (for those that cannot read) for the Democrats.
Many people vote for either side for different reasons. I have an example of one of the most hypocritical real life example that makes me laugh every time this subject comes up. This lady I used to work with is a die hard Republican, Uber Trump supporter, etc. She decided she needed to start taking out her Social Security early before the 2016 election. She was afraid Hillary would win and then get rid of the Social Security system. Now Trump wants to get rid of it. She clearly voted against her own interests, but will likely say it’s the Democrats’ fault anyway. This may be a fringe example of uneducated idiots voting for Trump, but you all continue to mention outliers, so I’ll play along.
