It's proven that on average, more educated people vote Democrat. It's not rocket science as to why, either. Educated individuals are taught to be more critical thinkers. They have depth.
If an educated person votes Republican, it's usually for the financial aspect, which is a deceiving tactic by Republicans to make it appear that they're the ones putting more money in your pocket.
Uneducated individuals are easily persuaded by showing events out of their control and making them political points. This goes for both sides, but it happens predominantly with Republicans. Youtube videos and random websites easily persuade the dense (hence #fakenews).
There have been several studies on this. But I guess the uneducated will just throw out any study because they don't understand how they work.
