"The trut will come out as soon as all the truck baws get to da plant and tawk wit dey bruhs an dey get a sauce"

Maybe we should all wait for you BLM geniuses who support rapists and women beaters along with various other Communists and Terrorists to get together and share your Wizardry with everyone.

Uh, maybe not.

Sounds like there is more to this story than what has been reported.

O put in a system that ended up making his son a ton of $$.

Just say "thank you" and "geaux tigers"

Chase committed to three different teams during his recruitment. Happy we won out. However, should we be surprised he has quit in dramatic fashion?

What is there to talk about, their son is not part of the team and there are actual LSU players that need his attention.
I couldn't have said it better.

There’s been a lot of understandable teeth gnashing that allowing image and likeness money will kill cfb. But it might actually be coming just in time to nip this sit out stuff in the bud. Agents would have to front way more money to beat the image and likeness revenue for stars like that

True, but at the same time, think of a guy like Trevor Lawrence and Nike comes to him and wants to sign him to a big endorsement deal after his sophomore year of college. What incentive does he have, at that point, to play his junior year? Obviously this is would apply to a handful of players each year who are marketable in that way, but this profiting off your likeness thing alone could have a lot of players consider not playing at all if there's little risk involved.

What happens when fans stop going to and/or watching the NFL and it starts losing $. I understand it’s a business but it’s money is controlled by us fans. If we stop watching cause of all this social justice bull shite then how does the nfl survive?

I’m pretty sure Coach O was one of the first coaches to speak out and release a statement
Not saying its bad on Coach O,I think Clark made more of this than it actually was, but it's the new world we will live in, every time a black person is killed by a cop, "which is a lot" you can expect this, and whichever leaders don't make a stand right away, they will be criticized, get ready, im sure it's gonna happen again soon!!

What? That is what the media wants you to think. Look up the stats and get back to us

He said "WE haven't talked to Coach O." "We" could mean a bunch of different things, including but not limited to, himself and Ja'Marr. If that is, in fact, the case, that's just not the right way to handle things like an adult. Regardless of his reasons for leaving the program, he owes it to his head coach to have a conversation. It's just the right thing to do. Maybe he did have that conversation prior, maybe he didn't. I don't know.

Does he realize that NFL owners/coaches don’t want a kid who’s daddy is all over the place living through their kid?

Honestly made zero sense for him to appear on Fox News. The same could be said if he appeared on CNN. Should’ve stuck with the sports channels or local news

If my kid opted out I wouldn’t expect his coach to talk to me about it.

I really don't understand why they turned on O so much.

Chase's parents absolutely praised O last year. Said he was extremely good to them and came through on every single promise he made to them.

2020 is insane.

As much as I'd love for Chase to still be on the team I cannot blame him for wanting to get paid. Hope the best for him and his family.

Here’s the story:

Agent shows up with advance payment and paperwork. Terms/Conditions explained and paperwork signed. Chase opts out. End of story.
