And were found safe Thank God. Navy Crew of four. Our guys are just flesh and blood kids and most like our hero are new Dads with babies and young wives/moms @ home. We just returned from Virginia visiting him, our Daughter and two Grand babies. And I can tell you those fly boys and our SIL too think they are bullet proof but @ the end of the day they are just as vulnerable as any of us and those planes. Follies of the young.

I think he's saying that a Navy aircraft crashed and the crew was able to safely bail out and survived.

Are you talking about an E-2 Hawkeye airplane? Wow man. That was a terrible paragraph. My sister was in a Hawkeye squadron out of Norfolk, that's the only reason I may know what you're talking about.

That's correct. Sorry for the wrong board. We just heard about it and found out it wasn't our SIL. I meant to post on O-T board. My apologies.

Moving it to another board will not make the jumbled mess of a paragraph any more clear.

The Shore Daily News reported the wreckage was in a soybean field and that the aircraft erupted into flames when it hit the ground. Two pilots and two crew members were able to safely escape the aircraft, according to Cmdr. Jennifer Cragg, Public Affairs Officer, Naval Air Force Atlantic.

Sounds like they got out after landing in a soybean field and didn’t eject.

Navy Crew of four.
Tin can soaring through the air loaded with seamen. Bound for destruction no matter where it came to rest.

Baw is probably old and doesn't internet well. Sounds like he's saying some Navy baws from the same squadron as his son in law were involved in a plane crash last night but thankfully all made it out ok

The frick are you talking about? Are you retarded?
Excuse me, Miss, but I speak "squid". He said, his son-in-law's United States Navy colleagues successfully egressed from a failing aircraft - based on his patois, an E-2C early warning aircraft, if I am not mistaken.
Also, he said something about the hubris and impetuosity of youth and so forth.
Short answer: Good news, nobody died.

Screw those down voting. Glad they are safe. Talked to my son this afternoon they are unloading Charlie company's helos tonight as C co gets back from the training exercise in Coronado with two of their mates killed in training and a third with a broken back and a career ended.
Life is precious and your right these heroes go out like they are bullet proof but the edge is very thin.

I'm not mad at the people who don't get it. They have no idea how dedicated some other people's children are to preserving their freedom. But again they just don't get it. I'd be willing to bet many would be deeply ashamed and embarrassed if they spent a day with these hero's and that's what they are.
