Where in the world did you find that much 9mm? For some reason there is a lot of .45 ammo still out there. Good thing I own several 1911s!!

Here in La. it is almost impossible to find ammo for any type of firearm. A local sporting goods store has a truck coming in 2 days a week with 9mm ammo. The trucks arrive late the night before to be unloaded & shelves stocked for the store opening next morning. For the last 3 mths, according to a store clerk, by the time the store opens at 8:00 a.m.there are 50+ people waiting in line. A normal truck load provides enough ammo for 30 buyers, who are obviously stocking up. Searching on line is no better.

Every gun store is basically sold out of firearms.....I have visited four gun stores lately and he only thing you can find are odds and ends type firearms. With exception of hunting rifles and high end shotguns for bird hunting, there shelves are bare,

Ammo? forget about it...everything is sold out the day it his the selfs....lots of a-hole hoarders and re-sellers. The only thing available is birdshot and .22's.I have to do my 5-year LTC qual. and I am going to have use my .22 target pistol.

When Trump wins maybe this means a lot of weapons will be on the market.

Damn, I may need to look into these. I have a Noveske 300 blackout also, but that one is a stay at home in the safe, Antifa is not worthy of its bullets

The vast majority of the new buyers this year, don't fall into that category.

The friends of mine that have bought guns said that they would feel stupid if they needed a gun and didn’t have one. There were enough signs that we might need one in the near future.

If Trump wins and shuts down Antifa/BLM, you’ll see a ton of never fired guns hit the market.

Not so sure about that. This isn't a .22lr shortage like we saw in the past, these are legit defensive firearms.

Once a person feels they need something for protection, they usually hold on to that.

And we're not talking about something like a generator after a storm, that takes up a lot of space. We're talking about a small item that can sit in a nightstand drawer.
I think once you flip from none-owner to owner, you stay that way.

Good. Get some safety and shooting instruction.

Don't be the idiot who shoots it at the range once and says "yeah, I got this". Become comfortable with it. Becoming proficient with is is optimal, but being comfortable and safe with is is where you should first strive to be.

I got my glock 17 and SKS in June. I never leave home without the glock.

I will be adding an AR and 12 gauge soon.

This past weekend was the 2nd amendment holiday in MS. Picked up a rifle and a couple of boxes of ammo for it. Didn’t need it but liked what I’ve seen online about the 6.5 creedmoor so figured I would give one a try.

No ammo to be found locally but ordered the ammo online from Midway USA. Ordered Friday arrived today with free shipping.

my momma and sister are amongst those 5 millions...
i gifted S&W Shield EZ M2.0(performance) to both of them..

easy to rack...easy to load..with minimum recoil.
after quick lessons on safety, how to hold/squeeze/and then focusing on front sight only.. both were shooting tight groups at 7yard right out the gate.

i'm not sure if someone originally recommended them here.. but i'm a fan (if great for those shy about recoil or may have a questionable grip)

apparently academy has figure out a way to make them respawn.. thats the only place i've seen have them in stock
