California accounts for half the revenue any of Vegas sees.

It was probably tough to walk past a group of people enjoying themselves

You think Californians are picky about where they move to?
Out of all the cities to complain about Californians ruining, Las Vegas might be the most ridiculous. The city was originally developed where it is because of its proximity to California and Californians. It wouldn't be anything more than a wide spot in the road if it weren't for California.

Really stupid to try and imply the guy is a prude and that his comment is because of someone smoking weed. If, as he says, people are plopping down in the middle of the sidewalk to burn one then I agree that would be annoying as hell. Not because they are smoking but because they are in the way. If people are sitting on the sidewalk to drink beer it would be equally as ghetto and annoying. Take that shite to a bar or your room or something.

I seriously doubt groups of people are sitting in front of casino doors smoking weed. One, the casinos wouldn’t stand for it and would have them moved. Two, even though weed is legal to buy and possess in Vegas, it’s still illegal to smoke it in public.

I don’t doubt people are smoking it everywhere. They were when I was there this past February. Sitting in front of casino entrances blazing down? I don’t buy that for a second.

If you don't believe the guy, then call him out on it. But you clearly implied something else. Don't be obtuse.

I don’t care if you believe me or not. It was at the side entrance to the Flamingo. Yes they have 3 doors on that entrance, one of them was completely blocked. No, it didn’t really hold me up. It was just the principle of it, move your dumb asses out of the way.
We had a good trip and didn’t have any issues with anyone we encountered. Just made the observation that it’s a totally different class of people there now than the last time I visited.
Ironically, the bulk of the people I’m talking about here I didn’t see in the casinos gambling too much. It was when we went outside that we saw them. I’ve never seen so many women wearing spandex and fuzzy slippers in my life.
