When did Vegas become so ghetto?
Around the mid-1980s, when the Feds shut down the last of the Chicago mob in the city, allowing corporate interests to take over complete control of the Strip.

Love those dudes snapping the cards in front of my face though.
Last time I was there (spring of 2019) the dudes had been mostly replaced by leathery 65-year-old Guatemalan women.

Legal or illegal, it's trashy.

My wife and I were there a month ago. We both noticed that it was way more ghetto than ever. I think part of it is because air flights are so cheap. But, they were hanging out on street corners and riding around in those stupid carts.
The Flamingo was trash but the other nicer casinos had a better crowd of people.

I’m in Reno right now, it’s way trashier than Vegas. It may be trashier than the Gulf Coast to be honest
