Local media’s coverage of cv19 has been egregious. This is a headline from fort bend

The media is the enemy of this country. They are so far away from true journalism these days it's unbelievable.

How some people can't see this is beyond me. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that they report with a slant and agenda constantly.

Why can't the media just report the fricking news? Why does every article and/or story have to have an agenda? It's insane.

In just two short paragraphs, there were numerous violations of grammar/spelling/writing.

They don’t even proofread the shite they churn out.

Actually, just two weeks ago he said the exact opposite. He said nearly all tests done were on people showing symptoms. He was trying to drum up fear that there were many more people walking around with it and spreading it to others without knowing. This was when he was trying to scare people into wearing masks. But then the Ochsner study came out where 60% of those positive showed no symptoms at all, and he spun it as if it proved his point even though the percent positive was in line with the current trend. In other words, we had been testing people without symptoms. He basically gave us a study that proved he had been lying.

My stepdad got it a couple of weeks ago. He’s over 60, nearly died from kidney failure two years ago because he was an alcoholic and still has several complications from it, has neuropathy in his feet and legs, is about 30 pounds overweight, has been a chain smoker for 40 years and is just generally in bad health.

His worst symptoms have been lethargy for a couple of days. On top of that, the doctors told him not to worry about more positive tests in the next couple of months because after you recover the antibodies present positive results even though you no longer have symptoms and are no longer contagious.

Also, my girlfriends friend’s parents, who are both extremely overweight, got it. Their worst symptoms were about like a normal head cold.

This obviously doesn’t tell the whole story, but it tells a lot of it for me. I’m over this shite.

This cabal of media, academics and politicians has desired the control they now have for some time and will lie to keep us in a State of Fear.

So it's not just here that the local media sucks. I'm not sure if that makes me feel better or worse.

We live in Fort Bend. My husband tested positive for Strep yesterday, and the doctor at the urgent care still did a COVID test just to be 100% certain that wasn’t the cause of his sore throat and fever. If COVID tests are being used in circumstances like that, we have plenty of tests to go around.
