It's a non-starter but it's an interesting idea and I'm on board with it as an exploration.

An idea by Brett Weinstein, a hard left liberal who basically got run out of Evergreen State College when the inmates started running the asylum and decided he wasn't woke enough.

Probably the smartest thing posted here today. I like what they are trying to do, but I also live in the real world. There’s never going to be a choice you 100% agree with, and the two party system isn’t going anywhere, especially now that most people have been driven further from the middle. (Thanks, Trumpy)

Interesting that they are interviewing Crenshaw today.
Unlike a lot of people on this board, I really do like him and I hope he has bigger opportunities in the future.
But he's not 100 percent MAGA so most of this board thinks he is a cuck.
The idea of a center candidate is interesting, no chance it happens at this point in the game. This is something they need to start now with an eye on 2024.
And they need to figure out the money problem.
Unlike a lot of people on this board, I really do like him and I hope he has bigger opportunities in the future.

This is why the entire political environment in America has consistently moved leftwards for the last three decades.
We have issues now that possibly have never been more critical to address like trade, immigration, tax policy, racial strife, spending...but we're more worried about decorum or some abstract jibber-jabber. If you care about issues, vote in that direction. If your issues are "embarrassment", just stay home on election day.

Restore patriotic, courageous and capable leadership?!? What the frick? I’m damned near 60 and wondering when these characteristics were last embodied more than the current resident of the White House. Reagan? While I don’t exactly worship at the Orange alter, I believe he has displayed these characteristics. The real issue is that he doesn’t play nice and I couldn’t give a shite. Clowns that have been lifted up as “presidential” and “bipartisan” were there as the country was given away. I’ll take 4 more years and see what the big orange prick can do.
