2000 Tennessee at LSU.
Big win in overtime. Ran onto the field with the student section. We punched Tennessee in the mouth early and often, and they staggered. But the Vols pulled themselves together and forced OT. Davey hit Royal and I knew our D was gonna hold since we were in the North end zone. What a perfect night, and a start of LSU’s rise to prominence.

2008 Super Regional vs. UC Irvine, game 2. Second-to-last game at the old Box.
2000 CWS, second round vs. USC. Seeing the Tigers stomp the Trojans was worth the entire 10-day trip.

Yeah. To me it really announced we had arrived.

Yeah I was right there in the end zone where Byrd caught that ball. It was insane but I still think Florida got crazier due to the rankings and situation with Tebow.

1.) LSU - Clemson 2020 (first time attending a NC)
2.) LSU - Florida 1996
3.) LSU - Florida 2007 (I was a sophomore at LSU)

Hard to pick between three classics my freshman year in ‘07 with VT, Auburn, and Florida. Young chilly was also in the house for ‘01 Auburn and ‘03 Georgia.
I’m going to go ‘03 Georgia. Game day on the PMAC ramp and it felt like we actually had a real shot to be special after that one.

2019 playoff - Oklahoma. It is when I became convinced that we were likely watching the greatest team of all time.
Mine too. That game was epic. The first half felt like a whole game arse whipping. I thought we were going to drop 80 on them... in the playoffs

Nothing will ever top this game.
I think this was the loudest game I attended

I don’t think anything will ever top 2007 Florida for me.
The one-two punch of Pelini throwing in the towel in trying to stop Tebow and having Hester punch it for 4th down combined with the astounding crowd roar at the announcement that USC lost is hard to beat

2012 Alabama is up there for me. Heartbreaking loss in the end but that was the best crowd I’ve ever been a part of

My top four..
2001 SECCG...
Mostly because LSU was a major underdog. The odds were seriously against us. It was the first time in many years when I legitimately believed LSU was back. The arrival of Matt Mauck. Watching the air slowly get let out of Tennessee was amazing.
2007 Sugar Bowl...
As luck would have it, we ended up buying scalped tickets in the Notre Dame alumni section. I will never forget the heckling we received. My favorite memory is when LSU took the field during the pre-game. A woman ND supporter sitting behind us replied “look how big they are” ; the next reply was her male companion saying “Look how black they are”. I remember laughing hysterically and turning around and replying “shite’s about to get real”. LSU fricking crushed them on National television. The couple left shortly after halftime. Witnessing their melt firsthand was positively intoxicating. LOL. Seriously, frick Notre Dame.
2003 - BCSNCG
We’re officially back, and I got 4 tickets only two rows from the field for less than $1000. Times have certainly changed.
2020 NCG
Despite being down early; knew we would win. Joe “MF’ing” Burrow. The glory of the win only tempered by the fact that this may be as good as it gets. Truly legendary.
