What years were you there? That doesn’t seem possible based on my memory

I was a sophomore frat guy wearing the traditional blue blazer, white button down, tie of choice for the Earthquake game -- Auburn at LSU in the fall of 1988. I'm telling you ... it rained bourbon and coke and peanuts for a solid 10 minutes.

Next up, the win against FLA at home in 1997. Never saw my dad cry until that moment.

There have been many others (thanks LSU) but these really stand out.

We only lost that 1 game to Alabama in 2012. You’re correct.

LSU vs Fla State in '82. The "Orange" game. Raining oranges on the field, fog floating in from the south end zone and Mike attacking their mascot! It was great!!

I was just trying to figure the years he would have had to be there in order to make that work. Any other way, one year prior or behind, and it wouldn’t have worked out!

that’s why the 2012 bama game sticks out so much. not only did we have the game won, in an atmosphere far beyond anything that had happened when I was a student, had we won the game we would’ve cake walked to a title like they did.

my momma was in town for the game, and the weather was perfect, so I look back on it fondly

I bought national championship game tickets after UGA 2003.

Paid like $325 each.

My friends all laughed at me.

I laughed at them later when they paid $1000+

Yeah it was a great game. I remember it vividly due to the fact that I was pregnant and couldn’t drink, which really changes an LSU game, let me tell you I went with my friend who was stumbling by half time (you know who you are) and that I had to feed a burger to in order to help her make it to the end. AWESOME game, terrible outcome, for sure.

LSU/Notre Dame, South Bend 1985. Henry Thomas. Dalton Hilliard. I saw their fans literally cry. It was magical.

it be like that sometimes

I think my favorite was the 2003 National Championship because so many people were happy crying. Like old men were crying. Then fans started getting spoiled brat behavior and complaining about everything.

Also, the LSU Florida games in 2007 and 2009 just because they were so electric.

I haven’t been to many games but my favorite win was 2013 Auburn. It was raining and we were kicking arse against a team that went on to play in the Natty.

Least favorite game: 2012 Bama
The energy in TS was insane until Yeldon ended it all
2018 Bama was terrible too but at least we knew it was over by the 2nd quarter

2007 Bama is worth a mention. I know they weren’t a powerhouse yet, but they had a double digit lead in the 4th. They had some former football players there who were recognized at halftime or something. They were standing outside the corner of the end zone right in front of where we were with the band. They were doing some light taunting until the Tigers turned it on late to win. I believe Chad Jones came up with the big play late to sack and strip John Parker Wilson.

Biggest game I regret not going to:

Pretty much anything from this last season. I was only able to go to the Arkansas game. Wussed out on the natty because of ticket prices. If I knew then that we would have a pandemic and my opportunities to see a game this year were very low, I woulda spent the cash.

2003 Ole Miss

My family is Ole Miss and we had season tickets growing up. I always loved to see Ole Miss lose.

LSU v. UGA 2018 was pretty solid. We didn’t expect that arse whooping.
