Suns 117-115 Mavs. Luka played 38. KP played 37. Seth. Hardaway. DFS. Wright. Burke. All played. You're seriously so uninformed.

if you were gonna go 8-0 and not make it, you shouldn't have been invited.
You can only gain ground if the teams in front of you lose games.

Yeah, it's really not hard to understand. Deserved to be there. Unlucky they're probably not going to make it. Not getting robbed. It's really pretty basic stuff.

You had 4 games where the opponent absolutely laid down.
Now show me 4 whwre Memphis had the opponent lay down.
It didn’t happen.
It would have been a travesty if Memphis didn’t get in bc the suns had (at least) 4 teams not even try a little to win while Memphis is playing teams who hadn’t laid down.

I felt like I had to explain this to you like you’re 5, otherwise you wouldn’t have made this dumbass thread.

What were the odds of that?
Lakers make the playoffs 100% of the time they go 8-0 in the bubble.
GS makes it 0% of the time.

I feel for Suns fans if Portland wins (which is pretty likely they will tbh). Should have done better before the bubble. They lost to this trash iteration of the Warriors twice and also the Pistons twice. No excuse for that, idc if Ayton was suspended.
Not for nothing but this could be a thing that builds confidence for next year if they end up not making it in. Some people want to bring up how their opponents were resting the last few games in the bubble but that first Mavs win and that Clippers win were legit, and they've demolished the resting teams. They've proven how dangerous they're capable of being. Booker needs to stay healthy throughout a season and as long as Ayton doesn't piss hot again they can come out the gate with a fresh start swinging.

I've literally said Memphis benefited least from opponents resting players. I've merely told you that you're spewing lies that the Suns have won against 8 bad teams resting guys. They've beaten multiple playoff teams at/close to full strength. Also, if you remember, the Suns are missing their starting SF and backup C. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.
When the Suns have played a good team that isn't resting guys, they've managed to win. When they play a team resting guys like today, they pretty much obliterate them by a billion points.

They absolutely should've been involved. They're in the playoffs if a result goes their way later today. They deserved to be in the bubble. They don't deserve to get in regardless of other results, though.
This is pretty much how I feel as well. If one Portland result is different, or if Memphis lost today to Milwaukee, they’re in the playoff game. I get it sucks to go 8-0 and not make the playoffs, but it’s a regular season, not a separate tournament.

No the point was they had a tiny chance and they deserved that chance.
Their fate wasn’t in their hands.

right, but at what level of odds did they really deserve a chance?
if they went 8-0 1,000 times, how many times would they make it?

how is it dumb? maybe try and not have like a 30% winning percentage during the season
Posted on 8/13/20 at 11:46 pm to rockchlkjayhku11
Memphis losing to Portland in OT on game 1 cost the Suns. If Memphis wins that and all else held constant, Suns would be playing Memphis for the play in game.

That was the most Phoenix suns shite ever.
