Actually the classrooms in Berkeley were already integrated in 1963 — before she was born.

Wasn’t she talking about elementary school? UC Berkeley has always been ahead of the times as far as being “progressive”. I dont this this picture is evidence of her lies. Not saying she didn’t lie but I don’t think this is the gotcha.

Q And I wanted to ask about a specific example that a lot of people thought was a phony moment. As San Francisco DA, she oversaw, according to the Mercury News, 1,900 marijuana convictions. But she was asked in an interview last year if she had smoked marijuana, and she appeared to, according to some people, lie, and say that she was listening to Snoop Dogg and Tupac, while — their music hadn’t come out at the time, while she said she was smoking pot and listening to it. Why would she lie about that? Do you see that as more evidence — is her past on marijuana a liability?

California was bussing well into the 1970a folks. the reason my parents moved out in 76 was that i would have gone to the Canoga Park elementry school for 1 and 2 grades that was at the end of the block, first grade for me was 76. 3 and 4 grades bussed to east LA and 5 and 6 grades bussed to northridge.
