Just thought this would be interesting to share. To take our minds off what’s currently going on and talk about uniforms.

Those unis will always remind me of that BS roughing penalty against MSU. Pass.

I am a big fan of the purple jerseys with white helmet and pants we wore a couple of times this year. I like that so much better than purple jerseys with gold helmet and pants.

The purple helmets were sick. Wish we would bring them out again but with the normal white/purple uniforms with the shoulder stripes.

I love seeing these lists made by jersey fanatics who just want everything like Oregon changed up all the time. Yeah they look cool but nothing will ever beat our classics gold white golds in my heart.

In doing some LSU military history research as part of a recent project, the Silent Season uniform (beyond beautiful) is nothing less than art, based on history:
Silent Season Uniform
The thoughtfulness and attention to detail to ensure the spirit of 1918 and what it represented was captured within the uniform - and then to have it look as incredible as it did - is really something we should do more often, and appreciate both in terms of story and execution. It was more than uniform design, it was heraldry.

I'd love to wear the old gold helmets again but with the normal LSU helmet stripes. Such a good look.

As much as I like our normal uniforms, this is our best combo 100%.

I love our traditional uni, its awesome. But I think the unis we wore at Vandy last year were just as awesome. We need to rotate between those two throughout the year. I say we we put on the purple jersy, we use last year's Vandy uni. Rest of the time go with the whites.
