The 70s were freaking depressing with the end of the Vietnam War, Watergate, the Oil Crisis, and a bunch of other shite that plagued that era. The 80s and 90s are without question two of the best decades humanity has ever experienced. The quality of motion pictures in the 1990s, however, put it over the top.
