connorheyward is wrong IMO.
pretty sure those that play understand some potential risk. i doubt seriously they will be complaining later.
if anything, i think they should give players the option to opt out, but also keep their scholarship if they choose to do so.
i am sure someone will destroy me for such thoughts, but it seems to be the fair thing to do here (given the circumstances.)

I do think there’s a huge difference between wishing the season gets postponed versus sitting out if it doesn’t get postponed.
I don’t think Brennan will sit out if there is a season. It would end his Lsu career and likely any hopes of going pro.
I do understand and respect his concern, but it’s disappointing with the season on the line, as Trask and Lawrence and Fields and our one and only lord and savior Joey B come out vocally in support of the season, that he’s going the opposite direction. But it is what it is

If Brennan feels that way he needs to be open with Coach O about it. It could make the difference between riding with MB and going after Justin Fields or another transfer QB from a conference that cancels.

i clearly haven't been keeping up, but i am pleased to know that is the case..
then i really don't see the issue here.. at all.
whoever doesn't want to play, don't.
nobody playing should then complain later on.
sounds like a win/win. time to push forward.
