is going places when he’s:
A) Starting for a defending Nat’l Champ with highest octane Offense in CFB history
B) Fully versed and trained to play within the Spread and Shred System
Draw your own conclusions after reading
Alphabetical Order:
Arizona 11,083 — Spencer Rattler
California 16,775 — Jake Browning
Georgia 13,902 — Trevor Lawrence
Louisiana 13,902 — Brock Berlin
Mississippi 15,138 — Myles Brennan
Note: 16,168 (over 1,000 yards rushing)
North Carolina 15,593 — Chris Leak
Texas 16,108 — Grant Gunnell
To the 2/3 majority that keep writing crap about Myles Brennan, Did you ever really read this?
Stats Closely Reviewed
2016: Completed 275-of-399 passes for 3,982 yards with 48 touchdowns and only three interceptions as senior ... Did not record an interception until the postseason of his senior campaign ... Led the offense with 455 yards rushing and nine touchdowns
2015: Passed for 5,248 yards, 53 TDs: 8 Ints in 15 games as a junior
2014: 409-of-582 passes for 5,797 yards and 64 TDs: 14 Ints as a soph
188 TDs in 3 yrs (63 per year - Joe had 60)
25 Ints in 3 yrs - Aver 8 per year — 3 as a SR
Joe had 60 TDs with 6 picks
Myles averaged 63 TDs with 8 picks
I watched this kid win two state championship games as a Sophomore (Won 42-21) & as a Junior (Won 44-20). I watched him knowing he was way better than Brock Berlin at Pass happy Evangel. Myles records likely won’t be broken for decades. Myles will break almost every passing record before he leaves LSU. mark that well!
MYLES BRENNAN IS LOCKED COCKED AND READY TO ROCK IN 2020
Watch Myles Brennan Highlights
1. Watch the passing accuracy to his TEs.
2. Watch his low bullets to move the chains on third down.
3. Watch release motion and arm strength
4. Watch the mobility and the footwork.
You’re looking at a once-in-a-generation talent who will have a vast arsenal of targets in 2020

Who keeps writing crap about Brennan? I don’t think I’ve seen one post like that

I freaking love your optimism Pokey and I too think Myles is going to surprise a lot of people but to replicate and even exceed what Joe just did is wishful thinking. If he can throw for 3700 yards and 35-40 tds I’ll be ecstatic and LSU will be in contention for the NCG.

Nobody is, but people are getting mad that he isn't projected as a Heisman favorite.

Probably not. I'll settle for #2
He has two years to top Joe. I don't think we will ever see 2019 again. But he could be better than 2018 Joe.
But even Joe did not top Hodson in terms of yardage for career.

One year really, because if he has any type of decent season in 2020, he's going to the NFL. And if he has a bad year, then he's not going to break any records in his second year.

I think many of the records set by some guy in 2019 won’t be broken anytime soon.

He is being projected behind a lot of QBs who have done nothing and some QBs who have not taken a snap.
I mostly have seen SEC rankings where Brennen is not in the top half.
247 has him 13.
gatorwise on usa today has him at 13.
rolltidewire on usa today has him at 11.
Saturday Down South (Michael Bratton) has him at 9.
the Tennessean ranked QB rooms. LSU was at 6.
Lindy's has him at 6.
CBS sports have him 42nd in the nation 8th in the SEC.
Just a smattering of rankings I found on the Google machine real quickly.
BTW, his odds in Vegas for the Heisman are much higher than these predictions. SI had him tied with Ian Book for 10th at 28 to 1 on May 5, 2020. WagerTalk News updated on June 29 and has Brennan tied at 11 with 4 other players at 30 to 1. (Etienne, Hubbard, Martinez, and Howell)

according to hs stats, you would think Russell Shepherd would have thrown at least a few passes in college.

He would have if Elmer Fudd wasn’t the coach

I wanna believe in Myles. All i know about him is he can make all the throws. Is he tough enough, does he have the will to win like Joe? I cant find any high school highlights on him on youtube. I literally have only seen him play the small amount of snaps he's played at LSU.

You'd also think that LSU fans would know how to spell his name.

He'd be an idiot to leave after one year. Show me all the great one year college starters that had NFL success? Even Newton played a year at JUCO before Auburn.
Dude needs to play this year, gain experience, and then play a full season next year putting on a show.

Thus far, only one of those has had a stellar college career: Lawrence. I know Leak won a title but he was average as a college QB even in their title year. Browning was decent. Compared to the hype, Berlin was a huge disappointment.
Brennan may be great. I hope so. He has the arm.

Its fair to expect him to surpass JB2018...to compare and expect him to surpass Burrow last year isn't fair to any player. If Burrow came back, he might not improve on those numbers.
But Burrow 2018...yes indeed. He can top that.

Great thread until the last sentence. Let him have a freaking start first.
