Does he have a name? Or an @

He may be a meteorologist for the national wildlife preserve in Wyoming and not have a clue about hurricanes.

To demonstrate just how difficult the NHCs job is, this is the GFS-Para ensemble to counter the Euro's. Still a world of difference 2 days out.

Has the Para been worth a crap since they put it out?

Looks like the eye is in the gulf slightly north of what the path showed.

Aaron Tuttle called out for fear baiting to increase downloads of his app

Not saying he is full of shite, but 1 minute of research shows he is questionable.

The ensembles are an improvement over the previous GFS ensembles.

It doesn't matter if it hits Texas or not SE LA is still going to get hit pretty hard. It's not a small storm.

Jefferson & Orange Counties have issued mandatory evacuations starting tomorrow morning

Vidor to Beaumont got hit hard last year from a much smaller system. Any tracks west of Vidor would be concerning for them, a shift closer to LC would be bad for LC to Lafayette.......

It’s not a good situation regardless. If it gets close to Houston.......even worse

Cuban radar of Laura:

The closer Cuban radar site is down, plus their radars are inferiors to ours, so it’s not the best view of it.

The storm that hit Beaumont hard last year was Imelda, I think. And it was all because of localized flash flooding. People flooded that didn’t flood in Harvey. My parents had 3 feet in their house for Harvey and not even a sopping wet yard from Imelda. It was much more localized and because of intense downpours. Harvey was the same as far as intense but was much much more widespread.

It feels like I've watched this storm for an eternity. I can't believe it's just clearing Cuba. Feels Like I've watched it for 2 weeks now. Get this bitch out of here already.

I know it’s hard to tell, but that looks like a 30 degree bearing change to the north.
