No thanks. I love my son, and Gillette supports messaging that bullies boys to depression and suicide. If Gillette wants boys to die, Gillette can go bankrupt.

We need to stop attributing individual tweets to how an entire nation feels.

TBH most of these Soy boys don't have enough facial hair to need a razor in the first place.

Is it that hard to just leave social issues alone and focus on selling a good product?

Too late for Gillette. They've shown their hand. No turning back.

How, exactly, do they support said messaging?

The article states how Gillette admits their strategy cost them money and will pivot.

Besides their mistake in their ad campaign, they have allowed others the make better products cheaper and more readily available...

Double whammy that they will probably not recover from... The take away is make shitty decisions, expect shitty returns...

They should have taken a page from Duluth Trading company Buck Naked Underwear. Those are funny.

Smart move with Harry's and DSC making poor choices lately. They have a window of opportunity here to regain customers if they do it right.

It won't matter because their "local heroes" will not be someone that the average, hard-working father calls a hero.

I wish they would tell/warn other companies.

Sell a good product and stay out of social issues.
