Why is Louisiana obsessed with littering?

Littering is trashy

State filled with dumb people do dumb things

The last hurricane that rolled through S. La. cleaned out all the litter from the streets and parking lots. Saw pics where everything reopened and within 24 hours everywhere had a fresh layer of trash. Must be some subconscious attempt at protecting against erosion, or, maybe save from flooding by floating on a layer of trash.

Amen brother. Drives me nuts. One of the most aggravating stretches of road is the I10 Atchafalaya Basin Bridge. That area beneath the interstate is a fricking disgrace. People just throw shite out with no regard for anything below.

Lots of trash and trashy frickers in this state. I think people get infected with the trashy bug as soon as the cross into Louisiana. One more reason this place is a shithole and always will be.

Took my wife to Louisiana and she said that she thought the roads were cleaner than the SF Bay Area and she figured it had to do with the less amount of homeless

I just hired a kid, and on the first day I watched him throw a plastic wrapper on the ground while walking across the parking lot. After I told him to pick it up, I could tell that it was just a terrible habit he picked up at home. He thought nothing of it.
