I say flats

I used to be a drum person, but lately I’ve been more to the flats. One good swipe will get most of the meat off, plus it’s easier to dip

Flats for me. I like drums too, however flats are usually more moist

Flats here too. Worth the upcharge to go all flats in restaurants too.
Drums are too dry and tough.

Flats. They’re almost always more moist and the skin to meat ratio is better

I prefer the flats if they’re cooked right. Meaning you can one swipe eat it. If not I’ll
take the drumette. I like a fried drumette.

I do not have an opinion either way. However, my son who is big into eating wings says flats by far. Couple of years ago he hit me up with the same question. I had no idea what he was talking about. Never in my life have I heard of a flat. When I cook them I cook both either grilled or broiled.

Long time ago when I didn’t know what to call them I would order “double boners”.
