100% need to prep for a prawn invasion. Those simple minded bug-drones would slay our asses.

Has anyone here ever had any expiriances with seeing a UFO?

Once in 2003 while stationed at Sheppard Air Force base I along with a buddy of mine saw what at first appearded to be a satellite crossing the night sky. But upon closer look I noticed this whiteish blue orb had a dimmer red orb following it. At this time I alerted my buddy to look up and he thought this was strange as well.

We watched as these two lights crossed the sky, and once it got close to the horizon they both stopped. The just stayed stationary for about 4-5 minutes then all of a sudded the white-blue orb shot off at a downward 45 degree angle and stopped then a second later the red orb did the same maneuver and met up with it. They stayed there for about 2 minutes then returned to their orginal stoopping point and then hung out for few more minutes before zipping off out of sight in few fractions of a second.

We had never seen such a thing and we were both F-15 crew chiefs who were familiar with what our fighter aircraft were capable of. The speed and ability of how these UFO's moved was not something that we were aware was even possible. The quick go and stopping movement of these craft alone would have had very negative effects on the human body if exposed to this type of gravitational force (G-force).

I'd say now would be the time to do it if they ever will.

Why? I ask “why?” In the context of this... would putting something like aliens exist out there now be good for us or good for them (NWO, for example)?

On a scale of 1 to 3.50, 1 being little to no effect, 3.50 being very significant effect....

I think the poster is referring to the unifying effect this may have on mankind if we were exposed to an outside source of life.

To further clarify, we as humans tend to find differences amongst our own species a reason to fight and go to war (race, religion, value systems etc) So we tend to stick together as long as our views or physical attributes are similar. So if an outside civilization would show up, many would view this as an "Us vs. them" situation. We have seen this many times throughout history. Just look at the cold war era with the many movies made about the USA verses the USSR. Rocky IV comes to mind!

First, I'll want to see the evidence.

Second, I'd like some details, specifics and particulars.

Finally, stop paying my taxes and commence to a life of hedonism and anarchy.

Simply knowing about such life would obviously have some implications. What would have even more implications if that life is intelligent and has religious beliefs of its own. If those religious beliefs are completely different that might have one impact. What would have a very interesting impact would be if their religious beliefs were exceedingly similar

And to even muddy the water further, what is we have multiple dimensions? What is some of these visitors are coming from other dimensions we cannot see?

I personally would like to know about other beings coming from within close proximity first, like within our solar system or galaxy before being let in the know about interdimensional planes of existence.

No. Whoever figures out the technology first will rule the world. As far as what it means, I believe life exists out there anyway (a big, big universe). My stumbling block are the vast distances relative to the speed of sound (light). If they have solved this I'm glad they have not come to subjugate me yet.
Edit : light

If there is a God he would almost certainly not be in three dimensional space

As for beings within an hour solar system. It's a rock-solid certainty that this isn't the case. Within the Galaxy though, it seems pretty likely. But that's kind of a big leap between solar system in the galaxy. How about our region of the Galaxy?

I don’t think most religions change their thinking. If a god created us surely he created others as well.

But I feel like the idea that God is an old white guy with a beard may be challenged. I always thought that was dumb to assume heaven or god would look like earth or our human form.

Yes true, but the focus here would be intelligent life that is far more advanced than our own.

That shouldn't be too difficult. We are undoubtedly the laughingstocks of the Universe.

When I was in artillery school as an enlisted Marine at Fort Sill Oklahoma, I saw lighted aircraft moving rapidly in the night sky while I was on night-watch. It was hard to gauge their size or distance in the brilliant night sky but it seemed these craft were moving at high rates of speed and rapidly changing in direction.

Knowing what we now know about drones, I would say these were some sort of proto-drones. At the time, I indeed assumed it was the Army testing some type of unmanned artillery spotter. Yet this was in the mid 1980s. Everything I have read or researched indicates this type of technology was not around at that time. Yet I saw what I saw.
