What implications would this have on humanities belief systems? Faith, evolution, or how we view our own human race? Serious question as to your thoughts on this subject.

I for one would still believe God created all things but our view of God may be only shaped by what man has interpreted God to be. I believe if there is other life out there that God has allowed this life to come about as well and has a purpose for it.

We live in the Matrix, so it just depends what the architect wants us to do next.

It would be a huge relief for the “people” of my kind. We would finally be able to come out of the metaphorical spaceship-closet.

I'd say now would be the time to do it if they ever will.

do you guys believe as Regan laid out in one of his famous speeches about how the human race would come together if they though we were threatened by an outside civilization?

Would this make us start to forget about our own in-fighting??

Edit: FWIW times of war between our country and others have had this unifying effect where skin color or other differences seem to not matter. Remember when 911 happened.

Take a look at the world around us. I have no doubt God could do much better than us.

My faith in God would be stronger.
Humans would still be corrupt.
A NWO would only be acceptable if we run it,
Use the tech to get us off this rock ASAP.
We would have a lot of catching up to do to lay claim and colonize our share of the galaxy.

Pretty much that^^^

It has the potential to be the single most globally unifying event in human history. And given the direction cultural authoritarians are successfully pushing our society right now, I’d say some unification would be of immense value.

I would immediately ask if they would be willing to take all the liberals to wherever they come from so we wouldn't have to be bothered with the crybaby virtue signaling twits no more

Yes true, but the focus here would be intelligent life that is far more advanced than our own.

That always seems to be lost in these discussions. "Life"? What kind of life would seem to be an important distinction to make. MEH, but what would I know, as perhaps, a lower life form?
