Renting a truck to tow a large boat to the keys for a week. The tow fee is $200. What are the potential repercussions if you don't pay this and say you're not towing and tow anyways. Using my own insurance. Can't really find any info on this and don't want to ask the rental company.

Ask your insurance company if they cover towing accidents?

They have an excellent corporate structure. And they give you the tools to be your own boss.

Home depot does not care. I rented a truck with no drivers license, the guy said I need some kind of ID.

Yeah I believe so. But even if you pay for the rental car companies insurance the tow fee is still added as extra. Which leads me to believe the tow fee is not insurance related.

Home Depot is like $0.60 per mile. Have a price point to meet here.

I dont think it is. Enterprise wont even put tow bars on their trucks when I was given one from the dealer up in PA. I had to rent from uhaul or home depot. Uhaul was cheaper

Put a ball on the bumper and super glue the plastic cover back on when you're finished.

None as long as you don't get in a wreck.

Just curious, you have a large boat but no vehicle to tow it? Or are you renting the boat as well?
