The Sunday paper in BR really was in top form today.
100% leftist agenda at it's best!
Nothing but liberal media pushing for votes in November....
My hometown paper is embarrassing!

I have them on my feed and only open the articles that are appealing. That is maybe one every other day. It's a "keep enemies closer approach."

I thought the new Advocate was supposed to be the shite and make all other media outlets redundant. I specifically remember this board saying NOLA/Picayune was dead meat.

Not sure what you mean, they are all owned by the same person now
They are technically dead since a lot of their employees were let go

#DefundTheMedia
Dont subscribe, dont give them clicks. They're barely hanging on as it is, wont take much to push them into bankruptcy. Time to purge the country of these propaganda activists disguised as journalists, send them all to the poorhouse.
Make the profession so worthless, traditional journalism schools cant maintain. End the cycle of indoctrination.

John Georges is a cuck
He's a liberal and his bio actually says "Democratic Party".

I only get it because of the LSU sports coverage it provides. But I am getting more & more disgusted at the front page headlines & the entire editorial page. And both will only get worse as the election nears.

100% agree! I cancelled a while back...got a phone call from Florida of all places to continue my subscription (AT HALF PRICE), and like a dummy I said OK. Like you, I'm fed up with the BLM & liberal crap they push every day. Cancelled again last month and they still are delivering the damn thing today. I sent another demand to stop delivery now!!

Really? I remember the opposite. People were saying John Georges would probably run the advocate down just like he did with the picayune.

I use Twitter for sports coverage only
I follow individual writers (not Rabalais) & Hilary, the Advocate photographer
Follow LSU Football, LSU Baseball...whatever sport you are interested in, they will typically retweet the big stories

This thread is full of gluttons for punishment.
I got tired of missed deliveries, even with the callout crew later delivering after a phone call.
I got tired of the shrinking paper..
I got tired of the writers becoming greenhorn LSU Manship kiddie corps as the real talent was run off..
Didn't appreciate their forcing Carl Dubois from his CPAP nap on the company couch during Katrina..
Even if he now is Pap Smear Carly.

Absolutely. As long as you keep giving them either money or your time, they couldn't care less if you hate them.

The bookmarked post on their Facebook for the BR advocate has a fundraiser to donate money to their staff
We've partnered with Local Media Foundation to make it easy to donate to The Advocate. Contributions to the COVID-19 Local News Fund program go directly to help us publish vital, local information related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Your contribution is tax deductible.
Theyve raised $485 of their 5,000 goal. In a month
The nola advocate has same. Theyve raised 20 bucks, from one donor

Blacks don't buy newspapers and that's been true long before the internet age.
