First off, I really do feel bad for those who died from this virus and this is not meant to disrespect them or the potential lethality of covid

That being said, how long are you willing to put your life on hold for this?

We all have money we’ll never get back, time, events, vacations, etc that we’ll never get back.

Kids have lost sports seasons or graduations they’ll never get back.

Parents have missed births, people have missed funerals for loved ones

All of this for a virus that mainly targets people who have had the opportunity to live long, full lives

So when do you really say enough?

You are in the wrong place for an honest discussion. They don’t want to hear it. Only conspiracy theories and the “left is trying to destroy us” talk.

If a couple of decades on the interwebs has taught me anything, it's there's no such thing as an honest discussion between anonymous strangers.

So if you're sincere about wanting an honest discussion about COVID or any other topic, look elsewhere.

Except for George Floyd. He got to have 3 different funerals in 3 different states.

So the 29 year old that went to a Covid party in San Antonio and died had live a long life ?

Hey, I am 64 and I am sick of all of this too, but I have some more living to do IMO. I play golf twice a week and try to be as normal as possible.

The Houston area in on fire right now with the virus. My buddies daughter is a head trauma doctor in the medical center, she says it is out of control right now.

Just be smart about things and protect yourself the best that you can and make life as fun as possible for you by being safe too.

It is not a hoax.

Trump said it's going to go away on its own, so I can hold out a little longer.

You can be more specific here, I doubt any mothers have missed births.

Honestly, I never wanted to put my life on hold for the elderly and obese. We all have parents. Mine are in their 70s. They are relatively healthy and they take precautions to avoid being exposed. They understand it is nobody elses responsibility to ensure they live to be 90. It's time for this political charade to come to an end.

Myself and most people I deal with are over this. We know and understand the risk of opening back up but willing to do so.

I read an article that was about reopening schools. The article pointed out that the present COVID-19 mortality rate in the K-12 age group is extremely low. But when you apply that mortality rate to the high number of students that could potentially return to school, you could loose somewhere between 50K to 60K kids to the virus in the US alone. I tried finding the article to link it here but couldn't find it again. I don't know how true or accurate their numbers are, but if even close to accurate it's a pretty sobering thought.
