Just looked up and saw it on Fox. Holy shite, how the hell does that happen?

Exactly. I have to imagine it’s loaded with fuel and ammo too.

The navy is the most shoddily run branch of the military. From lowest enlisted all the way to the Secretary of the Navy.

That is an Amphib not a carrier. It carries helos and VStol up top and has a well deck to launch below.

Nope, it just came out of dry dock from a retrofit.

To others, it was an amphib assault carrier. Sometimes referred to as “lightning carriers”

LHD - has a flat top, it's about the same tonnage as a WWII carrier. Ingalls in Pascagoula builds them.

the BHR is a Wasp class landing ship which has the capability to operate helicopters, V-22s, and F-35s...
