I found this ring in a box of my grandfather's things. I was hoping that someone might know what the ASE is. My grandfather was a teacher and school principal, so I was thinking something like the American Society of Educators, but a google search of that comes up with nothing. Any ideas?

Sorry about the shitty pictures. They looked clearer on my phone.

Google tells me that your grandfather was an auto mechanic.

Your Grandpa was a Nazi Death Camp Guard.

Auschwitz
Schutzstaffel (That’s the SS)
ersatzkommando

Most likely he was the one pouring the cans of Zyklon B into the top of the gas chambers.

Ase is a pretty common acronym for quite a few industries. I’d look that up and go from there based on knowledge of his past. The Eagles you would think would help.

Dammit.

It might be Abita Springs Elementary...although when he ran the place with an iron fist it was Abita Springs Grammar School. That would have been around the time he became the principal...might have been a gift.

Maybe you could send pictures and email to the major class ring makers like Balfour.
