ST. LOUIS — 5 On Your Side has learned St. Louis police officers executed a search warrant Friday evening at the home of Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the Central West end couple who confronted protesters with weapons in June.

Sources told 5 On Your Side that police seized one of the weapons, the rifle, from the couple and they told police their attorney has the pistol seen in photos.

One attorney representing another attorney, police illegally seize a registered weapon ....Weapon gets returned and the Mayor of St Louis looks like the arse he actually is.

But the Police took the weapon.

Owner's private security team that he hired, stays in place until the gun is returned. Antifa, BLM get nothing ...

Big thread on this yesterday that I didn't get in on.

It looks like a blatant violation of the 2A.

It seems that people will have to devise a strategy to conceal their weapons until to last moment it is needed just to keep rouge D.A. attention away.

Leftist insanity. I would have done exactly the same thing but may have taken some shots either in the group or at the people destroying my property and threatening to murder me and my wife.

But, this is the ultimate plan, disarm law abiders so the criminals can run rampant.

Missouri is a "stand your ground State."
Unless the gun was owned unlawfully, which I doubt, this is without merit. They should sue.

For discussion only- I do not believe they broke any laws with their behavior.

However.....

How many of you baws have a fixed carry handle AR-15? That’s right, none of us.

Me thinks that’s a full rock and roll M-16 and he may or may not have the tax stamp necessary to own it.

People with guns ought to go get their guns back for them and deliver them to that household. Then set up a defensive perimeter around their household and dare anybody to try and enter.

They now have a target on their back from the mob with no way to defend themselves and it was done by the government’s hand.

This is government at its core right here. They are liberty restrictors.

If this is the weapon(s) involved in the case then it's not at all unusual for that to be seized as evidence. Several things can happen from here:

If case dropped or found not guilty at trial, that evidence will be released and returned.

Or there could be a deal wherein case dropped in exchange for voluntary forfeiture of only the weapon(s) involved in the case.

Then of course there's the possibility that if found guilty pursuant to a trial, weapon(s) would obviously be involuntarily forfeited at that point.

As the bumper sticker said...if you outlaw guns...only outlaws will have guns. Im pretty sure STL's finest didn't take the weaponry that was being carried by those waking in front of the house ( the stated reading reason the family went in side to get their guns)
