Oh, I agree. It's all connected to the far left. I mean- look at our media.
You will not find a greater number of "whores" in the porn industry itself than you will in the American News Media.

Bro, if there's anyone knighting here, it's you. Maybe she'll read your post. Good luck. If not, you can always just jerk off.
I just have a very different definition of freedom than you.

More deflection and pivoting. It is what you do best.

I love porn. I hate anarchy. Debunked.

Normal people can recognize that porn isn't real life. If they can't they have a problem.
Very interesting thread. The above quote is what I’ve always considered to be the largest negative effect of such easily accessible porn. Almost by definition, porn has to push the limits to be noticed in the glut of available porn. So you have more and more outrageous content and behavior. As our teenagers are growing up and hitting puberty, they have a window into this rotten world in their pocket at all times. Guys start thinking it’s normal to do some of the stuff they see and in turn persuade our naive young women that it’s normal sexual behavior. The lines get blurred on both sides and I don’t even want to imagine the stuff 17 year olds are thinking is going on as normalcy in the bedroom. Out the gate they’re probably pushing the limits of what the vast majority of previous generations think of to be kinky and extreme. I don’t have to go into details on what some of that could be. When I was 17, just getting to touch a vagina was a big freaking deal and now y’all talk about eating arse like like it’s nothing. I don’t know, but this world seems to be getting sicker and sicker in every way, politically, financially, morally and spiritually.
I’ll by no means living some Puritan lifestyle but our sick society can only get a bit more worse before the nuclear family and traditionally American lifestyle is a thing of the past

Every person in this thread that's defending porn or dismissing the negative effects of porn on society are defending their sin too. As a man who grew up pre internet, when you were underage and wanted to see porn you had to get a mag from an older person or maybe you found one in the trash behind the liquor store. Now children can access porn anytime and anywhere on their home PC or smart phone and millions of children are being desensitized to porn. There's nothing good about porn, people are becoming addicted to the fleeting lustful release some person gets from masturbating to internet images. I can speak as someone who admits I watched quite a bit of porn when the internet took off and free porn came with it. I'm not a hypocrite or judgemental of anyone who believes masturbating to porn is time well spent I'm just saying with 100% confidence that porn is not a net positive for society. And don't let anyone tell you porn addiction isn't a real thing and that's it doesn't destroy lives and marriage.

I'm sure theres some really fringe crap out there but most porn seems to feature a man and a woman doing oral and a few positions and that's it. I'm not sure if porn can invent fetishes or create them within people, the more fringe crap probably has always existed but the internet makes it easier to see.

I'd image the abnormal sexual activity you have in mind would lead to lower pregnancy rates so that's probably a net positive for young couples who have no business having children.

I hear ya man, no doubt there's some pretty extreme stuff out there. Personally the only issue I would or could have is single parent households. Do whatever kind of wierd shite in your bedroom you want, just be a family unit when the child is born.

I think you nailed it. By the way, I'm a sinner too and I've seen the stuff. Day in and day out it is not good for the soul or relationships. I don't care if anyone watches it and I am not judgmental. I've posted before that the combination of the internet, seeing lewd stuff on the internet and being able to snap a photo with a phone and send it to a "hot student" is a prime reason for the increase in teacher/student naughty interaction. The internet is obviously a large part of this and maybe porn plays a part. Instant, ill thought out communication and instant gratification

the "seed"?
Peter North, the Cumshot King, must be responsible for half of it by himself.
Porn reminds me of dogs fricking, except the dogs wouldn't be expected to have the sense not to do it in front of everybody.

porn IS freedom.
See the OP of this thread.
Free love and the need that everyone should have the freedom to fulfill all carnal, capital, cultural desires unchecked is exactly the seed of everything we are watching. The need to fulfill sexual fantasies via self pleasure is so very closely related to homosexuality, trans rights, etc. It is all connected.
A good portion of this started with the 60s and the loss of shame, and the unhinged growth of emotions over reason and logic.
By making this statement, you've kind of proved the OP correct. You're probably going to say "Porn is SO much different than homosexuality..."
But of course, it stopped at Confederate statues? Right?
Unchecked human desire has no end.

I haven't read all the posts so I don't know if someone else already mentioned him, but there is a conservative Catholic author named E. Michael Jones who has written much on this subject.
LIbido Dominandi- Fidelity Press
Libido Dominandi – the term is taken from Book I of Augustine’s City of God – is the definitive history of that sexual revolution, from 1773 to the present. Unlike the standard version of sexual revolution, Libido Dominandi shows how sexual liberation was from its inception a form of control. The logic is clear enough: Those who wished to liberate man from the moral order needed to impose social controls as soon as they succeeded because liberated libido led inevitably to anarchy.
Over the course of two hundred years, those techniques became more and more refined, eventuating in a world where people were controlled, not by military force, but by the skillful management of their passions. It was Aldous Huxley who wrote in his preface to the 1946 edition of Brave New World that “as political and economic freedom diminishes, sexual freedom tends compensatingly to increase.”
