I always lean to the basketball player, 5 starters vs 22

Mahomes. Zion won’t be in NO in 10 years

Mahomes

QB position is not developed at the College level as is once was. Now it's about Winning with any system that works vs running a style that develops pro qb's.

Take a look at the qb's in NFl, a lot of average to mediocre qb's, and then take a look at 2nd and 3rd on depth charts.

And what has Zion done exactly?

Zion won't be in Nola for 10 years. Eventually he's going to want to win something.

I'll go with Mahomes.

Mahomes. He will give them a chance every season.

I'm going Zion because his success could largely determine the future of the franchise. KC already won the big one and people aren't constantly blabbering about them leaving for another city.

Zion has shown he is injury prone, so I doubt he'll be in the NBA in 10 years time and likely spend a lot of time sitting the bench recovering in the meantime.

I have less faith in Zion’s ability to stay healthy. Dudes his size aren’t meant to be constantly moving like that

Zion has to play more before this question can be answered, but the answer is Mahomes based on what we have seen so far. The Chiefs are his team and their success is largely dependent on his level of play.

One player is the big dick in the room for the single most important position in all of american sport who has already done it and accomplished what he needs to accomplish

The other player is just really, really, promising

This is a dumb question

Mahomes & it’s not close. Zion is overrated, and will be out of the league in 10 years.

One of these already has a SB win and MVP with a suspect D and is the best QB in the game. Has Reid and almost the same team plus CEH. The other is Zion. Stuck in Nawlins. And unlikely to win anything meaningful there.

Zion won't be there in 10 years while Mahomes has the chance to win multiple super bowls. Tough choice.

I know this is all projecting but, in terms of degree of importance to respective team, Zion’s ceiling is incredibly high, he’s a sure thing player using Bill Simmons’ words and we’re getting a taste of that now. As far as Mahomes is concerned, obviously QB is the most important position in that sport and he’ll continue his high importance until that defense becomes semi-elite because essentially that offense has to outscore the opponent many times, it’ll be fluid because he doesn’t play defense but he’s the difference there.
