I ask this because it's our premier non conference game and it's one of those once in a generation games. Normally Tiger Stadium would be lit for a game like this but now Texas is going to get the better end of the deal. They got all the economic impact of the game in Austin whereas we won't get anywhere near the economic impact that we would've gotten in a normal year in Baton Rouge.

At this point there's no chance of college football having games right now with a full crowd. At best Tiger Stadium would be around 50% capacity for this game, most likely more around 20-30%.

For the economic impact angle as well as letting Texas fans experience Tiger Stadium, should the Texas game be pushed back to another year? It would just be sad to see this type of game in an empty Tiger Stadium.

Nah they let thousands of people protest in the streets. Why would filling Tiger Stadium be any different?

As much as I hate it, there probably wont be a football season this fall. No vaccine, no large sporting events...

I wish we'd play conference games only this year and push the rest of the scheduled games back one. There would have to be agreements across FBS for that to happen though and it's unlikely.

It won’t be. Too much maneuvering would need to take place for just one game.

I don't give a shite if there aren't ANY fans in Tiger Stadium for that game as long as the Texas locker room is hot as piss.

I really hope they push the entire season back and then start 2021 late and then get back on schedule in 2022

Man could you imagine LSU on a cool spring morning with crawfish burners running all around campus and then Texas and the boy kisser come to town?

If they have the game, the stadium will be full. We have been itching, begging, pleading, for something to distract us from Covid 19 and racial tensions.

We should play ball! Open the stadium, have people sign wavers if we have to. Allow people to wear mask if they want and those afraid for their health can stay the frick home! We are having more cases because we are testing more and the death rate will continue to decline.

IF we don’t have football this season (still hoping we will, with full stadiums) then I would hope they’ll move some things around to get it on the schedule next year or the year after. They owe us a return trip whenever that is.

Texas isn’t going to let us reschedule this game. If season is cut short and the game is cancelled as a result. They’ll be content telling us to pound sand

I’d rather push it back a whole year if we can’t get 102k in there. We would cancel our cupcake game 2021 and still go to UCLA.
