White pelican to be removed from Louisiana state flag

Someone on the inside says the administration is being pressured to remove the white pelican From the state seal and replace it with a brown pelican.... with a rainbow of identitIes for the baby pelicans.

I'm cool with it. I've seen versions of the flag correctly displaying the brown pelican, which is our state bird.
