***spoilers for the retards who can't control their mouse wheel***
Just watched the episode with the kid who got killed at a party in Kansas. I feel like this one has the highest likelihood of being solved, because in small towns people will talk. Some loudmouth will spill the beans. Amazing that the killer(s) got so lucky with their method of storing/preserving the body in that it basically left no clues about cause of death.

I tried to but no host and no creepy music throughout plus no multiple stories made me go back and start rewatching the old series on Filmrise.
I probably will watch fully eventually.
Dont know why its so hard to find a deep voice and/or ominous narrator, to do this show. Get the guy who narrates Frontline on PBS if he is still alive, perfect voice.
Just seems like regular documentary now.

The DuPont episode is maybe the most interesting just because you know what happened but not the mystery of what happened to him

I woke up to a semi- nightmare about getting abducted by UFO's after watching the one episode.

Watched the first two episodes. I think Porter definitely had him killed, killed him himself or knows what happened. They could have easily left a lot of stuff out but someone doesn’t typically have that kind of mental breakdown so suddenly with no warning signs. Those warning signs usually become extremely obvious in hindsight and none were mentioned. Also, I feel like so much detective work could have been done that wasn’t because they ruled it a suicide so quickly. Makes me wonder if the right people were paid off and it sounds like Porter would have the money.
For the 2nd episode, I don’t think Rob killed her and he has a pretty solid alibi but it doesn’t mean he didn’t have it done by someone else. The remarks he made at the end about sleeping with her ashes, having her bones laid out and holding her skull and refusing to ever let her son have her ashes just confirms his ridiculous jealousy. He had the motive if she truly wanted to leave him but he got someone good to do it, it seems.

Yea. The Kansas episode bothers me quite a bit. Shocking that no credible or verifiable info has Come out in 15 years. Really wish the family had gotten another medical examiner... not that I feel he was complicit or negligent but probably needed someone with more expertise in this type of case or at the very least a second pair of eyes. Don’t think he had anything to do with it but the friend that he rode with appears to shoulder some personal burden and quite frankly he should.. wish they would’ve discussed more the friend that supposedly was still there and was going to give him a ride.

Just watched the first one. Definitely got the creepy vibe from the intro music

The show left out details about Rey and made it seem like he was this straight edge perfect guy. But a lot of stuff that has been documented from the last month or so of his life suggests he was going through a manic type of episode.

I have accepted the fact that I have PTSD from that music as a child. Anyways, the UFO incident was very interesting. I recall hearing about it but not much more. To have that many incidences in an area with so many different people is something else.

When that dude in the second round said he would turn into “Heckle and Jeckle” I lost my shite

Can you give some info on that? (I don’t want to quote for spoilers)

I binged all of it, solid show... But shouldn’t be “Unsolved” mysteries.
In 2-3 of them, they knew who did it, there just wasn’t a final resolution... So it was solved and more most wanted.

Episode 2:
Pistol: “I have several theories about what happened to her....”
My Wife: “Shoot”
Proceeds to laugh for 10 minutes at herself. I kind of laughed too in the moment.

I was really looking forward to this reboot but the first episode was sad but incredibly boring. The story was told in 10 mins. Everything else was filler.

Just watched episode one.
Spoiler: The phone and eye glasses still boggles me. What are the odds of the rooftop camera being disconnected?

On episode 2. *Spoilers I guess*
It's crazy to me that the night of her disappearance or whatever he had the locks changed? Almost seems like he was covering for it, but I don't know. And he didn't feel like facing the son that night.. Hmm.. I don't care how bad your relationship is.. that is something you have to suck up and work together for someone you both should care about..
If it wasn't the night of then forgive me. I wasn't fully paying attention.
He wouldn't let the son in that night? Then he wouldn't let the son have anything to do with her at the end?
That's just really strange.
Then he even admits at the end he is so protective of her and he has her now.
Again, seems psycho.

He didn't fall at all in episode one - he had a business partner call him for a secret meeting on top of that low roof in the cover of darkness.
What he didn't know was this was a hit because of something they thought he stumbled on and was willing to write about. There were very powerful people tied to that investment group.
So they:
1. Turn off the camera on the roof so that it couldn't be proven he didn't jump
2. They met him on the roof where the hole was - it was low and accessible (probably a common meeting place because it was under the cover of dark and off the ground)
3. They beat him to a pulp, dug the hole into the roof, and dumped his body (the medical examiner said as much in how the report was worded)
4. When the investigation occurs there is no camera evidence to disprove suicide so it's ruled a suicide by design
They obviously cleaned up but also screwed up with his glasses and cell phone
I'm surprised this theory wasn't even considered because a fail from any angle was impossible given how he landed

dug the hole into the roof
Don't see how they could do this to a metal roof and everything below, especially by hand.

It wasnt a metal roof - only parts were
