Full motion water bed
Shelves made from cinder blocks and scrap lumber I may or may not have pirated from construction sites.
Milk crates in lieu of a bedroom dresser

My apartment overlooks the park, which is obviously more expensive than yours.

I didn't live in an apartment until after college and had some disposable income, so it was a typical young, single, professional's apartment. Shitty living room set from a national chain furniture store, decent TV, small dining room table, bedroom suit from same chain furniture store, shitty art on the walls, etc.

The more I read your posts, the more I come to realize that you're one of the more underrated gentlemen on the OT

We broke our kitchen table and replaced it with a Ping Pong table. Best/worse investment we made that year. Stayed up for hours playing ping pong, instead of studying.

If this was 20 years ago, I bet it was big as an entire entertainment center and probably weighed a ton.

You mean like on of the projection things? Those were the only TVs I'm really aware of that size 20 years ago.

Tweed couch and a box TV. two corners of the couch were propped up by bricks. Couch had been to Amsterdam and back. This wasn't even all that long ago (2010)

How long did it take for the other two guys to cum?
After I posted it I figured I'd get some response like this - thanks for not disappointing.

Funny that you posted this.
There's a place in Homewood, Al off Oxmoor Rd that stacks these spools and packing crates outside their facility that can be had for free. My college kid decides he wants some end tables and a TV stand. He goes down there and gets two small spools and paints them. Then, takes two packing crates and stacks them sideways on top of each other for a TV stand. Pretty cool.
