Was it a giant projection TV or a flat screen?

Nevermind. I figured it out.

Me and wife were newlyweds at LSU in College Park Apts at every end of Aster Street. We had a brand new Magnavox black and white 19-inch TV on a rolling metal frame. It must have last us 30 years. Still use some of same dishes, too.

I had one of those big wooden electric company spools with a little Weber Smokey Joe grill on top on my patio. I moved it a couple of times. Had a wood and wicker rocking chair, that I bought at a garage sale for $12.00 in the early 80's. Had it through 2010.

A “Slow, Children at Play” sign that we managed to confiscate from Da Parish one night. Every party we threw, people would sign it. I wish I knew what happened to that thing.

I had a poster of a hippy alien saying “I come in Peace”. My gf at the time HATED it!
I had a 30” sylvania box tv in the living room and a 15” vcr tv combo in my bedroom.
I had an unkillable lenovo thinkpad brick of a laptop that still sorta works over a decade later despite being out of date at the time.
I had this dumb purple fuzzy folding bubble chair thing my parents gave me that mostly held unfolded laundry.

Cheap shitty Chinese furniture that the apartment came pre-furnished with
A 55" first gen Vizio smart TV (Was very heavy and thick, the HDMI ports or the smart TV functionality didn't work either)
Xbox 360
Turntable + an old stereo system from the 80's
Band posters (RHCP, Pearl Jam, Sublime, Nirvana, etc.)
Empty beer and liquor bottles on top the cabinets
Cheap walmart utensils and pots/pans
OG Xbox One (Had to use a computer monitor to play it since the TV didn't have working HDMI)
Giant Grateful Dead tapestry with an LED light strip

Not my proudest moment, but had just moved into a place next door to where the Special Olympics were being held. Me and roommate are walking home from the bar drunk one night talking about how sparce our new crib is and how we need to get some more stuff. I then notice the Special Olympic stuff sitting out in the field (they left it out overnight). I look at my buddy and say "you thinking what I'm thinking".
Next day my girlfriend comes over and notices a table, chairs and giant cooler that says "Special Olympics". She looks at me and says "You're going to hell".

Countless empty liquor/beer bottles with Christmas lights around them for decor. I have no idea how that didn't smell. We had a kegerator, gaming systems, homemade wall decor made from bottle caps. The typical college male apartment
Me and my roommate's favorite part of the apartment was the loft. It's hard to explain but the kitchen had REALLY tall ceilings, those ceilings went to a normal height in the living room (it was all one big room.) Well in the corner of the "tall ceiling" portion of the main room we had a spiral staircase that went up to a loft overlooking the kitchen/living room. We put a 15 person tent that covered the whole loft so as soon as you went up the stairs you were in the tent. That was our smoking tent. We had tons of shite up there.. stereo/speakers, mattresses, comfy chairs, disco lights, christmas lights on the outside, the whole floor had like 4 layers of blankets so it was soft... Those were some good times.
We also hung a basketball hoop over the side of the loft so we could play HORSE inside. Our neighbors hated us but man that apartment was fun.

Roadside furniture that somehow wasn't crawling with bed bugs
Broke-arse hand me down bedframe that had to sit on wood blocks - weighed a million pounds and I'm sure it was nice in the 1960s when first bought.
A cat, when we skipped the pet deposit.
Landlord was a complete psycho but allowed us to paint and lay down some laminate flooring so we could learn some hard lessons on someone else's property - bathroom turned out damn near flourescent orange and the laminate I put down convinced me to never attempt something like that again.

About a 6ft tall version of this. But ours was mostly MGD. We were young and broke.
