I lived in a studio outside of Northgate. Literally had a murphy bed and an entertainment center with a 32" television, a PS4, and an internet modem. Had a decent kitchen set up though, pots and pans, actual plates and silverware and 2 stools to sit at the bar/counter area and eat. Wine glasses too which was a big plus in the eyes of many chicks I took back to my place.

It was Fat Cow, The Bulldog, then my place for some wine. Chicks love wine.

I bought a Mits 65" HD RPTV in 2000 and it was $5500. That being said I don't think Mits ever made a 61" RPTV during the late 90s/early 2000s it was 55 and 65 then, they did make 60" DLP sets but they were later. There is some folklore that they made a 4:3 61" CRT TV but they were extremely expensive and very few were made because they had severe issues. I never even saw them reviewed in the mags at the time

I think it was 61 but I could be wrong. I bought it in 2000 believe. But it wasn't super expensive. I think under $2500 (maybe under 2000) but that was too long ago to remember

Pretty sure you are mistaken. At the time Mits only made 48, 55, 65 and 73" RPTVs. All of them were more than $2500.

Now if you had one of the previous generation models 4:3 not 16:9 and not HD they had one that I think was 60" and may have got it on closeout for cheap.

Nothing exciting, I didn't live in an apartment until I was about 25 or so, so having stuff like car posters was well out of my system.

Million pound “flat screens.” I was in college when the modern thin flat screen was introduced.

I had a few uncles “give” me their old box flat screens like it was charity.

19 year old me didn’t realize they were just conning me into taking and removing those monsters from their houses.
