Is every Academy like this? I was amazed at the lack of inventory, and it has been bad...but it is terrible. One counter open to check out with about 30 people in line. Everything looks in stock aside from fishing gear and ammo.......They should just shut the doors if they cant at least try.

Same in thib. They’ve got ammo if you’re looking for 22 mag and 32 s&w. Fishing stuff is meh.

I guess I should've inspected better. The lack of cashiers and an empty hunting and fishing section is bad enough, they also have no fitness equipment for home gyms, but congrats on having things no one wants to buy I suppose.

Alx had warned me, but I didn't heed his warning. I was about to stand in line and buy a Duckett rod and a SLX DC before I came to my senses about this not being what I went there to get , a 300 dollar set up on a whim because that is all they had woulda been the dumbest thing I did today, I hope.

academy and basspro same issue here in Raleigh NC. I went to get some supplies for perch jerking last week. No corks, no crimp on weights, no small hooks. Academy seemed to be worse off between the two.

There isn't a chartreuse black backed KVD 1.5 in this Parish.

I was able to pick up a vp9sk at academy in Mobile, just a few hours ago. I looked all over and finally one. Ammo was a different story. Any good online sites you can recommend?

ok. There is like no residential areas even near it, but ok.

People and their comments about Alex amaze me, as if Lake freaking Charles is paradise

I can't remember exactly because I have been to so many places in the last two days, but I am not even sure they carry the KVD stuff. I bought several Bandits from them though.
