He's refusing to use the full power of his authority to accomplish what he cries about constantly.

"Epstein didn't kill himself"? Yea. We know. You know. Everyone knows. Do something about it.

"Hillary lied, lock her up" Yea. We know. You know. Everyone knows. Do something about it.

"Biden was the one who broke the law with Ukraine" Yea. We know. You know. Everyone knows. Do something about it.

One of the reasons these socialists have become so brazen is because they SEE THIS.

But you may say "Trump is in a no win situation, they are trapping him" ...yeah...obviously. But that's what he signed up for.

All he needs to do is have a serious oval office wartime like speech where he formally announces these leftist groups like antifa as terrorists and formally declares that those who support and fund them will be considered wartime criminals and will be hunted down and dealt with. He should then pursue ALL avenues to make major social media platforms into publishing platforms because they are. Everyone knows it.

His base would cheer. 30% of democrats would silently agree. The dude would win in a landslide.

But Trust Sessions...

And then he'll get called an authoritarian dictator. Not only that, he'll give Democrats a path to copy....only for their purposes that are different from his.

The Democrat machine is baiting him into exactly this.

Yes. I’m pretty tired of his Twitter hard arse routine. I voted for something more than a keyboard warrior. Dude does not actually do shite to stop this insanity.

Most likely being held back by Kushner. I wish that Trump would occasionally just be the bulldog that he is. That's what brought his base to him.

People say this country is done if Biden is elected but Trump has done essentially nothing to stop anything we are seeing.

I fail to see how Biden being president would change a damn thing.

So now we think Trump has the authority to charge people with crimes? Do you understand how prosecution works?

Yeah, I don't even care about whatever bad guys being taken down legally at this point. Just declassify whatever you need to do to win the public relations war.

Before you say, "why isn't he doing anything about it" ask yourself, what could he do, legally, and what could he do, that, in an election year, wouldn't be looked at negatively?

quote:

"Epstein didn't kill himself"? Yea. We know. You know. Everyone knows. Do something about it.

Like what? He's the President, not the attorney general.

quote:

"Hillary lied, lock her up" Yea. We know. You know. Everyone knows. Do something about it.

Again, what can he do? Congress/Senate has the power to investigate. The AG has teh power to investigate. And as far as we know, the AG is looking into it. But you don't "lock her up" without slam dunk evidence and proof, which takes time to gather. I am also disappointed nothing has happened yet, and probably never will, but i don't know what the President can do, that he already hasn't.

quote:

"Biden was the one who broke the law with Ukraine" Yea. We know. You know. Everyone knows. Do something about it.

Again, see above. He's not a prosecutor, he's POTUS.

quote:

But you may say "Trump is in a no win situation, they are trapping him" ...yeah...obviously. But that's what he signed up for.

To be trapped? Lets say Trump uses his powers to push for the things you want. Let's say he marches on Seattle. Is your vote enough, to make up for the votes he'll lose in November? He wants to pursue this stuff in December, fine. But doing so now, would only cost him votes. And if you reply with , "i don't care, he needs to do something", will you be singing that tune if his actions result in him losing an election, and Biden winning? You think your demands for justice will be met with a Democrat in the white house?

quote:

formally announces these leftist groups like antifa as terrorists

He already has.

quote:

declares that those who support and fund them will be considered wartime criminals

I'm sure he needs more legal backing in order to do so.

quote:

He should then pursue ALL avenues to make major social media platforms into publishing platforms because they are.

Again, this is a legal matter. He can't EO this.

quote:

His base would cheer. 30% of democrats would silently agree. The dude would win in a landslide.

He already will. The exact things you are bitching about, are gaining him votes. WHy mess with that? Again, its an election year. I may not like it, you may not like it, but both of us will be pissed if he loses in November.

Agree unfortunately.

Epstein didn't kill himself"? Yea. We know. You know. Everyone knows. Do something about it.

And this one makes me especially mad. I thought we had someone in the White House who would finally be straight forward with the American people.

Even if trump wins re-election, he’s gonna need a big 4 years to do something that has an actual lasting effect on the nation. If it ended tomorrow, he’d be nothing more than a flash in the pan.

I've said it way back , UK...what it will take to 'fix' our problem...will be AUTHORITARIAN governance. Suspension of normal Constitutional Rights, and labeling the 'opposition' as treasonous, seditious insurrectionists; attempting to overthrow Constitutional Governance. They - like Islamists - use Constitutional protections in order to undermine the Constitution. And per their standard MO...they PROJECT what they indeed do, onto to their opponent. Muh Russia, Muh Ukraine, Muh China...and above all...Muh Dictator. Trump is trying to finesse his (the) necessary abandonment of Constitutional Rule of Law until the people will not only tolerate it...but beg for it. And we are fast getting there.

Bodies are going to pile up in the streets, and for those of us who witnessed the 'Kent State' scenario back when...that stuff - given today's Fascist MSM propaganda mechanism and Social Media - is powerful. Just like Trump shut down the economy to save lives...He's trying to keep the death rate down. We all know what is coming. That 'John Mark' Video that was on the Board yesterday, spells it out clearly. JM called for "peaceful separation"...but that's for public show; he knows that such is impossible.

ETA, there is, and will be a "fundamental transformation" of our Government...but it won't come until and after the kind of painful and educational scenario that brings people to the kind of vision that enables compromise.

Patience. It's coming.

The swamp is not shallow. It didn't take three years to fill, it took 30 generations. You don't drain it overnight. Progress, even slowly, is better than nothing.

Are you a dumbass or completely oblivious?

Trump can't even take a fricking picture without the Joint Chiefs apologizing and showing grave concern, but you think he can go on tv and order the military to shoot down rioters across the country?

Of course, his inaction is also explained by the fact that right wing media is lying about all of these vague “crimes” that democrats are always committing. Maybe democrats aren’t criminals. Maybe Trump has nothing to actually charge them with. Maybe you are being bombarded with sketchy right wing brainwashing.

That is a much more likely explanation than “Soros controls everything.”
