Chill out Clay Travis, there's a vaccine for the flu
No, there is a best guess for which flu will be going around, and in past years a swing and a miss with the flu shot..
With your so called "vaccine" 60k Americans died from the regular flu last year...DIED WITH THE VACCINE. Think about that. And we don't change our lives during flu season. The MSM has made the chicken littles insane.

Yeah that’s what happened. I was told about this like 3 days ago. I personally know 2 players that have it. They are asymptotic right now though. Since the other thread got deleted, I’ll say it here: A source inside the program who shall remain nameless told me when this happened that he doesn’t know if there will be college football this year. Take it for what it’s worth.

All they need to do is make the entire team quarantine for 2 weeks and be done with this.

What do you think they were doing before this?

lol at people that think there’s gonna be football this year
LOL at people that think schools are going to go bankrupt by cancelling football because of a couple people getting the cold.

cant they have self-discipline and not got to Tigerland.
shows the leadership of the team.
no leaders on the team. the first sign of trouble and we are gonna lose multiple games.

Stay away from that trash they call Tigerland and we will be fine

If we had never shut down to begin with we would have already been passed this...

18-22 year olds in great shape are not really the demographic this thing is harmful to. They are in far more danger playing the actual game of football.

A new study posted two days ago revealed that immunity may last only two or three months, especially in people who never showed symptoms.

LSU has 13 essential coaches/analysts over the age of 50

Let's all say it together:
H
O
A
X
This is 30 asymptomatic people.
My 94 year old grandfather needs to quarantine, not world class 20 year old athletes.

Who the frick cares. They’ll have a mild flu for a week and be ready to go.

Do we actually know there is immunity to this? Like no possibility of catching it again? I know you get antibodies but don't those fade and how quickly?
Also, it's one thing to say "all young people should get this" and another to say I volunteer to get this. In shape people have talked about how they got over this but how much it took out of them. And now you want the kids we don't pay to volunteer to catch a disease we don't know enough about? Good luck with that.
